Trip to Trang

Trang: October 16-21, 2007
After I arrived Bangkok from my trip to northern Thailand, I left again next day for my trip to the southern province, Trang. I travelled there by coach with a big bunch of people who also attended a big event, CCT (Church of Christ in Thailand) christian youth conference which is held every two years. It took us about 12 hours on the bus. Me and my friends from church

Trip to Chiangrai & Myanmar

October 12-15, 2007
I travelled to Chiangrai, the most northern province in Thailand and also visited Myanmar for an afternoon. This colorful plane by Nok Air brought me to Chiangrai.
My cousin and her daughter (my niece)
Sarisa, my niece who was born while I was in Canada.

Here we were crossing the border to Myanmar.
Welcome to Myanmar

Walking the the immigration check point. Once we had crossed the border, i felt little sad to see a lot of homeless kids and beggars :(
