A day in a life of me

Since I came back to Bangkok, my life style is kinda changed. I started to "work" again, career life has begun. I must admit that I am still thinking of my time in North America. I love my work and people there so much. Now that I am back, I have to adjust myself to things here. I know it seems senseless and people might think that I am overacting about adjusting but I can tell u that if u have fully experienced something and absorbed it to your heart, there is no wonder why u would think about it a lot.

This is just a lil update about me. This is at BTS (sky train) station where i get on and off everyday...to work of course...
I always spend about half and hour here every morning having breakfast in this park.

This is a white christmas tree in front of my office building. My office is on 25th floor :) After work, i sometimes go out for dinner or drinks with friends.
I'm having German beer! Dukel bier :p

Loy KraThong Festival

Loy Krathong Festival

Last week, it was Loy Kra Thong festival. I spent time with my parents. This festival is believed to be the time that people give apology to the river goddess for making the river dirty. People make a container (Kra Thong) which is made from banana leaves, flowers and with incense and candles. And then they float (Loy) the Kra Thong in the river or canal. So loy krathong means to float the kra thong. This festival is celebrated through out Thailand and it is held on the full moon day in November. On this day, people usually go out at night with friends or family and they make or buy Kra Thong. This year I didn't make mine cus i was too busy but my mom brought one for me from her school. krathong vendor. u can choose anyone u like!

Trip to Chiangrai & Myanmar

October 12-15, 2007
I travelled to Chiangrai, the most northern province in Thailand and also visited Myanmar for an afternoon. This colorful plane by Nok Air brought me to Chiangrai.
My cousin and her daughter (my niece)
Sarisa, my niece who was born while I was in Canada.

Here we were crossing the border to Myanmar.
Welcome to Myanmar

Walking the the immigration check point. Once we had crossed the border, i felt little sad to see a lot of homeless kids and beggars :(

Pattaya 18-20.09.07

This is the first blog since I came back to Thailand. It has been boring some time just to stay home. So this time I got a chance to get away from Bangkok for few days when my friend whom I met in Canada came from the UK! So we met in Pattaya! This pic is a view of the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
The bus took us about 2.5 hours from Bangkok to Pattaya.
I spent my second day on the beach.
My foot prints :)
Jomtian Beach is famous for swimming in Pattaya.
The waves were big and the water came so high.
Relaxing at the beach.
It was hot and sunny.
